The Malone Legacy 4:14

 

It’s Leisure Day, so Ethan decides to throw a party. He invites all of his friends over to celebrate the summer. But, some uninvited guests showed up as well. Cosmo was being mauled by the paparazzi all night, but she didn’t mind, and one of their dear friends got a cramp in the pool and ended up drowning. The Grim Reaper was definitely not someone they wanted to see.

 

In the day’s leading up to the birth of their second child, Colten and Amie spent all their time with Kayden. They wanted to make sure he knew he was loved even with the arrival of the baby coming up any day now.

 

That night after putting Kayden to bed, Amie went to watch TV and prop her feet up and relax. This was interrupted by some sharp pain in her stomach. She hollered for Colten, telling him it was time, their next child was about to come into the world. Colten left Kayden with his parents and rushed Amie to the hospital. The closer he got though, he started to get a pit in his stomach. He was reminded of how Kayden’s early life was, he didn’t want that to happen again, but he wasn’t sure how to change it. He didn’t have much time to worry though cause they got to the hospital and were rushed in.

 

 

After hours of hard and painful labor everything finally paid off, Amie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Colten told her to name her whatever she wanted, he didn’t care. After a few hours, she finally decided on the perfect name, Carly.

 

Colten takes charge of taking care of Carly. He gets up in the middle of the night to change her diapers, and gets up early to make sure she is fed. Amie loves the way Colten is becoming. She is so glad she isn’t on her own this time.

 

After Carly was born, Colten and Amie tried to keep treating Kayden the same, but they knew things had changed. Having another baby caused them to be tired all the time from middle of the night feedings and they felt as if they started neglecting Kayden. He didn’t seem to notice because Cosmo and Ethan took extra care of him. He built great relationships with his grandparents, something Colten and Amie were extremely thankful for. As Kayden gets older they notice the similarities he has with his parents (like his mama’s weight problem). They put him on a special diet. They want to kick this in the butt soon. 

 

Carly continues to grow as well, she is getting so big. Amie can hardly believe that it is almost time for her birthday. She doesn’t want her little girl to grow up, but she knows it is going to happen soon. She loves her perfect little family. She doesn’t want anything to change.

The Malone Legacy 4:13

 

Amie continued spending all of her time with Kayden, teaching him how to walk and talk. She notices that Colten does nothing more than play with their pet snake Fangs. She worries that Colten isn’t happy with their family or that he doesn’t want to be a dad. She isn’t sure what to do, she just knows she wants some help.

 

Amie puts her worries and fears aside for now. She had a wedding to plan. When she wasn’t spending every waking moment with Kayden, she planned her perfect wedding. The night went flawlessly, from the exchanging of the rings to the cutting of the cake, Amie was so happy she almost completely forgot about all the things that had been going on the past few weeks. It was the best night of her life.

 

A few days later, Colten became an ideal father. He continued improving Kayden’s walking skills, and got up with him every night. Amie was shocked. She wasn’t sure what had happened but she didn’t care. She loved the new father Colten had become.

 

Later that night, after Kayden was sleeping, Amie decided to talk to Colten about what had happened. She asked him why he wasn’t there during Kayden’s early life, but seemed to be all about the toddler life. He really didn’t have an answer, but Amie still didn’t care. She was so happy and so filled with love for her family that she decided to spend all night with Colten.

A few days later, while cooking dinner, Amie got an upset stomach. It was her favorite meal, but the sight of it just made her want to throw up. She thought back to the night she spent with Colten… Could it be?

 

Yep she’s pregnant! She couldn’t believe it. She was so excited to add on to their family, but she then thought back to the first years with Kayden. She didn’t think she could do that over again. Especially with a toddler running around. She tells Colten the good news and he is super happy about it. But Amie tells him, he has to be more involved this time. She couldn’t do this without him. He agreed gratefully and hugged her. He couldn’t wait for the next member of his family to join them.  

 

The Malone Legacy 4:12

 

Colten and Amie are blessed with a new baby boy. He is healthy and happy and they decide to name him Kayden. Colten is filled with a new kind of love. He didn’t know he could love someone that he hasn’t known for a long time so much. He is in awe.

 

A few days after the birth of Kayden, Cosmo and Ethan age up. They are now elders both with the dream of some day retiring. With his parents getting older, Colten knows what he has to do for his family in order to stay happy.

 

He plans the perfect date, starting early on Saturday morning and ending late at night. His parents were watching Kayden while he has big plans for the day. After their first date after the birth of their beautiful son Colten pops the question. Amie was totally surprised and equally as excited. She knew she wanted to spend her life with him, but she was glad he wanted the same thing.

 

Taking care of a baby is a lot harder than Amie originally thought but she loves Kayden all the same. He makes her wake up in the middle of the night but seeing his cute face every time is worth it.

With the planning of the wedding and all the late night baby calls, Kayden’s first year flew by. Amie throws her baby boy a party in order to celebrate. 

 

Kayden is definitely mama’s little boy. They are best friends and Amie wouldn’t have it any other way. She just hopes that Colten has just as good of a relationship as they do.

 

The Malone Legacy 3:11

 

After Prom, Colten comes out with a new friend. Her name is Amie and they really seem to like each other. She followed him home after prom to hang out even more. They stayed up all night talking and getting to know each other. Colten really liked her.

 

Colten and Amie were inseparable. They did everything together, movies, sporting events, festivals, you name it, they did it. Anyone who watched them together could tell they were really in love. As Cosmo watched Colten, she was reminded of how Ethan and her were when they first started dating. The thought of Colten getting something as amazing as her and Ethan had made her heart swell. She was so happy for them.

 

It’s been some wild and crazy years, but high school is coming to a close for Colten. He is so happy with the way his high school life played out. He thought back to how much his life would have changed if his parents hadn’t of forced him to go to Prom. He never would have met Amie. To this day Colten is thankful for his parents sending him. High School would have panned out so differently if he hadn’t gone to Prom.

 

Now that Colten was an adult, he asked Amie to move in. They never left their room. They cuddled and kissed and… Well let’s just say they did things that would eventually lead to…

 

Pregnancy! Oh my goodness. Amie is pregnant. They aren’t even married yet. What would everyone think? Colten didn’t care. He was so excited when he found out. He started reading all of the pregnancy books he could get his hands on. As Cosmo watched from a distance, she was again reminded of her and Ethan. She smiled as she realized Colten is ending up exactly like his dad.

 

Before they knew it Amie woke up in the middle of the night to labor pains. She woke Colten up, but all he was good for was freaking out. He realized how unprepared he felt to be a father. He didn’t want to screw up a kids life. Amie told him to calm down. They would worry about that later. Right now they just had to focus on getting to the hospital to get their healthy baby out. Through all the intense hours of labor Colten was scared to death. He wasn’t sure if he was ready to be a dad. All these worries were swirling in his head, until he heard the first cries coming from his child.

The Malone Legacy 3:10

 

Shawn and Amelia decide to take things slow. They aren’t in any rush and she has trust issues. After a month of dating, Shawn tries to go in for their first kiss, only to be rejected. He leaves their date heartbroken but still in love. He decides to give up on love and again throws himself into working on his musical talents.

 

After many wonderful years, it is now Danielle’s time to go. She feels bad about leaving Shawn at this point in his life. She really wanted to see him get married. But she is confident in what she is leaving Ethan with. She wishes she could have gotten to know Cosmo better, but she looks back on her life and smiles as she passes on.

 

With the passing of his mother, Shawn realizes that he can’t wait forever for what he really wants. Even though they haven’t talked in a while, he invites Amelia over and pops the question. He was afraid of being rejected again, but she graciously accepted.

 

Amelia decides she can’t wait, and she doesn’t want to waste all of their money on a big wedding. So they decide to have a private ceremony in the front yard. Shawn didn’t care how it happened, he was just glad he could be with Amelia. They decide to move into their own house so they could get away from everyone and start their own family.

 

Colten decides to go out trick or treating on Spooky Day. He dresses up as a gladiator and goes to all the rich houses because they give out the best candy. After a hard night running all over he gets home to discover…

 

SURPRISE! It seems it is Colten’s birthday and his family threw a surprise party. 

 

 

For his birthday, his parents got him a guitar. Colten is so excited he goes to his room and gets right to work. He already feels like he knows more because he spent all of his early life on the xylophone. Colten works hard to gain more skills. His parents think he is getting to isolated and fears he will wind up alone. He wasn’t planning on going to prom, he wanted to stay home to play guitar all night, but they decide it would be best if he went and made some friends.

Colten gets decked out in his dads old tux and heads off to prom. He isn’t excited, but how could this night turn out for our next heir? Will he come out with more friends? Or will this be the worst night of his life? There is only one way to find out, Colten thinks as he walks into the school.. 

The Malone Legacy 2:9

 

After a hours in the hospital, Cosmo gives birth to a premature baby boy they decide to name Colten. She has to spend a few nights in the hospital to make sure Colten was okay, but they were finally released to go home. Ethan did everything he could to make them comfortable. He didn’t want anything more to happen to his little family. 

 

While Cosmo stays down, due to bed rest, Ethan and Danielle do  everything to help out with Colten. Ethan is grateful for Danielle, because she is able to take care of Colten while he is at work. Even though they didn’t have the greatest past, Ethan is still glad he has at least his mother around. He doesn’t know what he would do without her.

 

With baby Colten around, everyone seems to be forgetting about Shawn. He goes to Prom the night after Colten and Cosmo returned home and came back with a girlfriend. He becomes like Ethan did at this age and puts all of his time and effort into Katy. 

 

It doesn’t seem like it to anybody, but Colten is already turning a year old. He grows into a beautiful little boy. No one is sure where he got his blonde hair, but they love it so much. There isn’t much of a party, because neither Ethan nor Cosmo have made a big deal about their first. They don’t want him to be followed around by paparazzi. 

 

After finding out that Katy had been lying about her age, Shawn makes the decision to break it off. (She became an adult while dating him) He spent most of his nights in his room alone. Then his mom surprises him one day with a new drum set. After playing for a few hours, he realizes what he wants to do with his life. From here on out he dedicates his life to learning every instrument he can.

 

Ethan continues to hold true to his promise to Cosmo. He does everything he can with Colten. They soon become best friends and Ethan doesn’t want it any other way. He loves Colten and Cosmo more than he ever imagined he could love anyone. He spends all his time at work, working hard to gain promotions and raises, and all his time at home, is with Colten, teaching him how to walk and talk, or with Cosmo, making sure she knows everyday home much he loves her. 

 

Before we know it, Shawn is becoming a young adult. He spends all his time alone, in his room working with the instruments. He throws a small party for his birthday which included some people he didn’t know. This is when Shawn meets Amelia. It was love at first sight and Shawn spends all his time with her. Could things be looking up for our forgotten child? How will things turn out for Ethan and his perfect little family? Things can only go up from here.

The Malone Legacy 2:8

 

After months of planning, it is finally time for Cosmo and Ethan’s wedding. They exchange their rings and Ethan watches as his vows make Cosmo tear up. They were both so happy. They cut the cake and then danced the night away. They didn’t even notice anyone had left, they were lost in each other’s eyes. It was the perfect night. Ethan had been dreaming about it his whole life.

 

After the wedding, Ethan got a few day’s off from his job at the stadium. He spent every minute of it with Cosmo. His relationships with the rest of his family slowly diminished and Cosmo hated sitting back and just letting it happen. She tried to talk him into fixing things but he refused. “You don’t know what I went through. I can never forgive them for what they did to me all those years.” Cosmo felt awful. The thing Ethan didn’t realize is she did know. She had been by his side since the day he came home from the hospital. She just wished he could have seen how bad things were and how hard his mom tried. She is the only one that will ever truly know what that family went through.

Now that Shawn was a teenager, he started to feel what Ethan had his whole life. His parents started not caring. He would stay out all night and no one would notice. He spent most of his time at the lake fishing. It was the only place he could truly go to get away from everything. He loved the feeling of peace he got from fishing.

 

Before they knew it, Cosmo was pregnant. She was overjoyed because she loved Ethan and she couldn’t wait to have a little baby sized him. The big shock however was the fact that Danielle was just as excited. She wanted to help with everything, even offering to take care of the baby so that Cosmo could get a job. Cosmo was confused as to why her mother in law cared so much about something that was going to be half of her. Danielle never seemed to like Cosmo.

 

Cosmo couldn’t wait till Ethan got home to tell him the good news. She blurted it out once he got in the door and she saw the same look on his face that he had the day they got married. This brought tears to her eyes and she jumped into his arms. Immediately Ethan started talking to her belly. He hugged Cosmo once more, leaning in and whispering in her ear “I am going to be the best damn dad ever to walk this Earth. Our kid is going to have the perfect life. I love you and I love that child inside of you. We are going to be great parents. I just know it.” Cosmo looked into his eyes and saw the genuine love he had for her and their child. She had no words, but whispered back “I love you.”

While Ethan was in one room, getting the greatest news of his life, Danielle was in the other getting the worst. She awoke that morning to find Hank not moving. He is usually up way before her getting ready for work. But this time he wasn’t. She tried to wake him up to no avail. She shook him, tears streaming down her face. She didn’t want to believe it, but she leaned down and gave Hank one last kiss before she finally excepted that he was dead. 

 

Even though they weren’t close, Cosmo was still quite upset about Hank’s passing. She stayed up tossing and turning, wondering what her life would be without Ethan. The stress caused pain in her stomach. She wasn’t sure what was going on, but then it became even more intense. It felt like someone was punching her in the stomach. She started to get worried about the baby so she woke Ethan up and he rushed her to the hospital. They didn’t say a word the whole ride there. The car was just filled with Cosmo’s screams and Ethan’s sobbing. Both of them could only think of the worst and they both hoped they were wrong.

The Malone Legacy 2:7

 

Ethan and Cosmo were hitting it off. They spent all their time together. With his parents busy with Shawn, Ethan had to come up with something else to do. So he spent all of his time planning the perfect date for Cosmo.

 

After months of planning, Ethan felt he had the perfect date set. He took Cosmo out on a Saturday. They went to a movie she had been wanting to see, followed by dinner (with dessert) at her favorite restaurant. By the time they were done, the sun was just setting, so he decided to take her to her favorite spot. They sat in the snow for a while, just watching the stars and enjoying each others company. Cosmo made a comment about getting tired and Ethan decided it was time. He got down on one knee and popped the big question. Cosmo was so surprised and equally as excited. She said yes and couldn’t wait to get started on planning.

 

While Ethan and Cosmo were on their big date, Hank was at home teaching Shawn how to walk. Ethan’s parents had no idea how big his night had been, and he was going to keep i that way. He made Cosmo promise not to bring it up. He would come up with the right time to tell them the big news. She promised, knowing that Ethan knew what was best for them.

 

Before they knew it Shawn was a child. He grew up to be super adorable and really wanting to join the scouts. His parents allowed it, glad that he wanted to do something. When Shawn came home announcing he was signed up Ethan felt a pang of jealousy. His parents never let him sign up for after school activities. He always had to be home right after school doing his homework in his room. He didn’t understand why they treated Shawn so differently.

 

Cosmo begged Ethan to tell his parents. She really wanted to throw a Bachelorette Party but couldn’t use the house without his parents knowing. Ethan took them out to dinner alone and worked up his nerves. He just came out and told them “Mom, Dad. I am engaged to Cosmo.” Needless to say, they weren’t very happy. But they knew, so Ethan told Cosmo to throw her party. The next few days were awkward in the house. Every time they were together, his parents would tell him that they really wished he would have talked to him so they could have helped plan. Thank goodness for Cosmo because she stood up for him saying they night he proposed was the best night she ever had and couldn’t imagine anything better. 

 

Most of Shawn’s childhood was spent with his parents only paying attention to him. Danielle and Hank were still really upset with Ethan and Cosmo. Ethan really wanted to move out to get away, but they couldn’t survive on their income alone. He had really been hoping to inherit the house once his parents were gone. But he wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to leave in with Shawn. He feels so out of place and isn’t sure what he should do about it. All he knows is he loves Cosmo and he plans on spending his entire life with her. He couldn’t wait to start their family. But first he had to get out of that house, or get his parents out…

The Malone Legacy 2:6

(Not 100% sure when the next generation starts so we will go ahead with now since Ethan has a girlfriend!)

 

Danielle tells Hank that she is pregnant again and was completely shocked by his reaction. He is overjoyed with the idea of having another baby. This is when Danielle decides she needs to seriously talk to Hank about Pauline. She tells him all about her fears and worries and why she feels bad for the next child they are bringing into their dysfunctional family. Hank tells her that he is sorry for all the stress he has caused their family. He knew he hadn’t been there as much as he should have with Ethan and he promised to take better care of their new child. Danielle is speechless but she believes Hank and knows deep down that the man she fell in love with is back.

 

Ethan spends all of his free time with Cosmo. He is head over heels in love with her. He takes her all over town on their dates, from concerts to movies to sporting events. They have seen it all. He worships the ground that she walks on and Cosmo loves being treated like a princess. Ethan tells her that he wants to be a better father than his was and he wants his kids to have the best childhood possible.

 

One day while Hank was at work and the kids were at school Danielle decided to work on her painting. She was painting, enjoying the peace and quiet, when all of the sudden she got sharp pains. She recognized this from her pregnancy with Ethan. She was in labor. No one was home so she had to take herself to the hospital.

 

After making multiple phone calls to the station she finally got through to Hank. She told him to meet her at the hospital, the baby was coming. After hours of painful labor, the baby is finally born. He is a healthy happy little boy that they decided to name Shawn. It was love at first sight. Danielle loved Shawn to death. She hadn’t felt this way since she first had Ethan.

 

Ethan and Cosmo were still inseparable. They spent every waking moment together. Ethan knew he wanted to be with her forever. He loved this woman and he didn’t care what anyone else thought. He didn’t care about what his parents thought either. They were always busy with the new baby and had no time to spend with him. So Cosmo didn’t really know them and vise versa.

 

Shawn’s infancy was pretty uneventful. Hank was the best dad anyone had seen. He would get up in the middle of the night just to check on Shawn, he would take care of him first thing in the morning so Danielle could sleep in, and he would put him to bed every night. Before they knew it, Shawn was a toddler crawling around the house. 

 

Now since Shawn was slightly unplanned, Danielle and Hank were a little older. By the time he was a toddler, they were both elders. But that didn’t stop Hank from being there for his son every step of the way. Shawn was obviously daddy’s little boy. They were best friends.

Ethan was pretty jealous of Shawn, but tried not to let it get to him. He had Cosmo to spend all of his time with so he was happy. They spent snow days building forts together and talked all night long. Before they knew it, they were adults. Out of high school and graduated moving on to the real world together. They have a beautiful relationship, it’s to bad Hank and Danielle were to busy with Shawn to notice. They barely even knew Cosmo. But, Ethan knew what he wanted to do, and he wasn’t going to let his parents opinion change his mind.

The Malone Legacy 1:5

With his dad out of the house all of the time and his mom depressed, causing her to clean and paint all day, Ethan turned to his imaginary friend to keep him company. They spent all day together everyday. Cosmo became his best friend.

 

No matter what they had been through, Danielle still loved Hank. She couldn’t deny it, and for Ethan’s sake, knew she couldn’t leave him. That night, she marked her territory. She loved spending every minute she could with him. 

 

Ethan’s Childhood has flown by and before they knew it, he was becoming a teenager. He didn’t want a big party, mostly because he didn’t have many friends. His only friend was Cosmo and she was there with him. Ethan didn’t have the greatest childhood and he couldn’t wait to get to high school so he could get a job and get out.

 

Since Ethan is now a teenager, so is Cosmo. He throws her a small party to celebrate. Ethan doesn’t know what he would do without Cosmo in his life. He wanted to make his imaginary friend real. But he didn’t have the logic skill so he didn’t have a potion.

 

Later on during the party, Danielle surprised Ethan. While he was at school she had been working nonstop to get the right potion for him. She didn’t believe in his imaginary friend, but he was always with Cosmo so she wanted to see if he was for real.

 

Ethan ran to Cosmo to give her the potion. She drank it and it worked! She is beautiful and the best part is they like each other. 🙂 

Earlier in the night, while Ethan was enjoying his birthday present, Danielle got sick. She thought back to when she and Hank spent the night with each other. Her thoughts were answered when she took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. Now she is worried that Hank will be upset. She didn’t want to bring another kid into this messed up world they have, but whoever is growing inside her, she will love them unconditionally.
